At the age of 94,
Seyyed Hossein Nasr has formally retired, and this was marked by a meeting at Geroge Washington University with
many speakers, including Nasr himself. The entire meeting was filmed, as is available on
YouTube,
here. It lasted six hours and forty-three minutes, so it will be some time before I can go through it all, but it provides a
rich source for those interested in Nasr, as well as a fitting tribute to a great thinker.
My thanks to Ali Mohammad Eskandari Joo for drawing this to my attention.

Hi Mark. I don't see it mentioned on your encyclopedic blog, so perhaps this 'flew under your radar' - it's past but must have been an interesting event, if nothing else because of the timing: https://www.academia.edu/126349391/Ren%C3%A9_Gu%C3%A9non_on_the_Desacralization_of_Psychology_forthcoming_
The conference was announced at https://traditionalistblog.blogspot.com/2024/09/Tehran2025.html and I am hoping to be able to publish a conference report in due course.
